Advices for visitors

Big cities are great to spend your vacations, lots of places to visit, lots of activities and of course lots of people...... there are many things foreigners should and should not do when visiting Chile.

Can you mention some of the things they should (or shouldn't) do?

Jobs

Many people like or dream with different jobs. Everything depends on your skills, interests, plans for the future and even money!!, When I was at 4th grade High school I wanted to be a musician and I even studied to become a professional one. At the same time I studied to be an English teacher, (I didn't like it at that time). Now I love being a teacher, it's a great job, very hard but really challenging and demanding.
What's your favorite job and why?

Let's introduce ourselves

Hi, my name is Christian Castillo, I'm 36 years old and I'm from La Serena. I work in Elena Bettini School, I'm an English teacher. My family is my wife (she's a teacher too) and my three daughters. I like many things but my favorite ones are watching movies, some good TV series, listening to music, reading, English (of course) and surfing the net. I don't like lazy people, football and eating beans.
My favorite movies are Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Kurosawa's Dreams among others, my favorite music is rock, jazz, soundtrack and blues.
How about you?

The most beautiful city

Chile has a lot of beautiful and wonderful cities. I like many Chilean cities, La Serena, Valdivia, Temuco and many more, but my favorite one is Frutillar. It is a small town on the lake shore, but you can enjoy peace, hospitality, and of course stunning landscapes. What I like the most about Frutillar is the huge variety of delicious German kuchen you can taste.
